Site clearing activities resume on January 3 with air curtain burning of non-merchantable timber logs. Air curtain burning is an effective and environmentally friendly method of eliminating wood and vegetative waste. Air curtain burners create a “secondary burn chamber” that serves like a lid covering that traps smoke particles. These smoke particles are then re-burned and turned into waves of heat.
These activities will be restricted to the project site and occur daily between 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. with minimal impact on the community.
