This is a greenfield project that will be built on 400 hectares of land in Kitimat industrial area in British Columbia, Canada. JGC Fluor BC LNG JV (JFJV) is designing and building the LNG Canada plant as a brand new facility. When completed, the plant will consist of a natural gas receiving and LNG production facility, as well as a marine terminal with the capacity to accommodate two LNG carriers, a tugboat dock, and LNG loading lines. The facility will also include LNG processing units, storage tanks, a rail yard, water treatment facility, and flare stacks.

JGC Fluor (JFJV) awards contracts mainly through a process that involves issuing competitive Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to contractors and suppliers that have already been technically and commercially assessed as being capable to provide the required goods and/or services. In some cases, we will single source contracts to fulfill specific project obligations.
