JGC Fluor BC LNG Joint Venture (“JFJV”) hereby gives notice that a submission has been added to the Navigable Waters Registry pursuant to the Canadian Navigable Waters Act for public comment described herein and its site and plans.
Pursuant to paragraph 10(1)(b) of the said Act, JFJV has deposited with the Minister of Transport, on the on-line Navigable Waters Registry (http://cps.canada.ca/) and under registry number 3204, a description of the following work, its site, and plans:
Placement of riprap and removal of temporary works, including a sheet pile cofferdam, access trestle and work platform, at a refurbished water intake in, on, over, under, through or across Kitimat River within Block 1508 District Lot 6266 and 6267 Plan 7172 (PID 007-739-401) and Part of District Lot 6266 (PIN 2286970), Range 5 Coast District, adjacent to Haisla Boulevard in Kitimat, British Columbia.
Comments regarding the effect of this work on marine navigation can be sent through the Common Project Search site mentioned above under the Comment section (search by registry number 3204) or, by sending your comments directly to 100-1 Smeltersite Road, Kitimat, BC V8C 0B3 if you do not have access to the internet.
Note that comments will be considered only if they are received not later than 30 days after the publication of this notice.
